Cannabis consumption is not permitted where tobacco is prohibited (e.g., all indoor public places, beaches, close to playground equipment, public trails, sports areas and restaurant patios). Cannabis can be prohibited by landlords with four months’ notice issued prior to April 30, 2019

What happens if someone is caught driving high?

Sanctions for intoxicated driving are on par with alcohol impaired driving. This can include suspension, fines, and a possible loss of licence. There is a zero tolerance policy for those under graduated licensing.
